Hi Worried Sick,   I'll address your lipid panel results here.   Total cholesterol = 221 This is slightly elevated.  Total cholesterol ideally should be below 200.   LDL Cholesterol = 150 LDL should be less than 130, ideally less than 100.   Triglycerides = 152 Should be less than 200, ideally less that 150.   There is no need to panic, but use this as motivation for making a few changes to your diet to lower levels, especially LDL cholesterol.  The best way to lower LDL is be replacing saturated and trans fats in your diet with heart healthy unsaturated fats.  Follow a high fiber diet, especially soluble fiber to lower LDL levels.  By including physical activity most days of the week, you will have a positive impact on all aspects of your lipid profile.  Also, if you are overweight, weight loss of even a few pounds will improve your numbers.   All the best,   Lisa Nelson, RD, LN The Heart of Health - Heart Health and Weight Loss Tips
