Hi Nepolea,   Sugar and alcohol have the greatest impact on triglyceride levels.  I encourage you to eliminate all alcohol from your diet until your triglycerides are under control and find ways to reduce sugars, such as soda, candy, baked goods, refined grains, etc. Check out this post for additional tips to lower triglycerides - Triglycerides: Why they matter and how to lower them.   I recommend speaking to your MD regarding medications to treat your condition.   All the best,   Lisa Nelson, RD, LN The Heart of Health - Heart Health and Weight Loss Tips
