Had blood test done on a monday morning, before that had pizza sunday, did not eat well all weekend and had a couple sips of OJ right before the test. Will this effect the test??

Thanks for your question.  A couple of sips of OJ before blood work should not affect your cholesterol levels, or any of your other blood work either.  The OJ has some sugar in it, but not enough to make a difference in a couple of sips.

I aslo understand that your diet was not your usual, and again, this should not really influence your blood work.

In general, when getting blood work, you should be observing your "normal" diet in the days/weeks prior to the blood work, so the tests are an accurate reflection of what you're eating regulary.  Changing your diet in anticipation of bloodwork is like cramming before a final exam.  You might get a good result, but in the long run, you're not doing yourself a favor.

I hope this has been helpful.
