Alcohol has an impact on triglyceride levels. If you triglyceride levels are within normal, 1-2 ounces of whiskey daily may not be harmful. However, if your triglyceride levels are elevated, it's best to eliminate alcohol until levels are under control.
It's always best to consult your physician, since they know your full medical history.
