Q: What should my daily intake of fat grams and carbs be?

I am a 17yr old female on a 1500 calorie diet. I weigh 150 lbs, 5 ft 5 inchs tall, and have a low activity level.

Hi Oops,

 

The standard recommendation is a breakdown of 50% carbs, 20% protein, and 30% fat. This would equal 50 grams of fat and 187.5 grams of carbohydrates daily for a 1500 calorie diet.
