Q: Can chronic pain and migraine medicine, especially narcotics, influence chloesterol levels?

Suffering from chronic neck pain and migraines which results in daily use of narcotics  (on disability).  Cholesterol levels have shot up though no significant changes in diet.  46 year old male.
