Is there a generic for Lipitor

Thanks for your question.
A generic form of lipitor is not expected to be released before November of 2011. India was supposed to release a version of a generic lipitor in 2009, but Pfizer, the manufacturer of lipitor won a court battle in June 2008 which prohibited the release of this generic for another three years.
