  Hi Connie,   The steps you take to control high cholesterol are pretty much the same as someone without gluten intolerance.  The only difference will be using dietary fiber.  You will have to use fruits and vegetables as sources of dietary fiber to lower cholesterol more so than whole grain products.  Otherwise, the steps you take are the same.   You can learn more about a diet to lower cholesterol here.   All the best, Lisa Nelson, RD, LN Tips to Lower Cholesterol
