Q: what if you take statins in the evening but you stay awake for most of the night working.

I work 3pm to midnight but I don't get home untill 2am I go to bed at 2:30am and get up by 8am. so what time would be my best time to take zocr.

Hi Orangepants,

 

Yes, your works schedule would impact the best time for you to take Zocor. I recommend discussing with your physician to determine if you should wait until your shift ends and you are ready to go to bed to take the medication.
