I have a Cholesterol number of 9. What does that mean???

I just had a blood test and the nurse told me I have a Cholesterol number of "9", then she told me to diet and excerize and to see them in 4 months. Yep thats all they told me, I know crazy, right. So what the H___ do I do Now,,,,, haha. Thanks for any info Randy
