Q: we need help for my husbands heart meds.no insurance and cannot afford them. is there any help forus

my husband has had 5 artery bypass 5 yrs. ago he is now 49.we have had to give up job with coverage and now we have nothing. we were wondering if there was any programs for his meds through the makers. we are desparate. he HAS to have them but we cannot afford any of them.please if there is anything out there to help could you let us know? belinda curley

Hi Belinda,

 

I recommend contacting your local health department to research available resources. Also, discuss with your pharmacist to learn about any assistance that may be available.
