Q: are eggs considered good cholesterol?

Hi Dustin,

 

When it comes to the cholesterol found in foods, such as eggs, there are not good and bad categories. One egg contains ~215 mg of cholesterol in the yolk. It's best to limit egg yolks to no more than 2-3 per week. Egg whites are a healthy option and you can substitute two egg whites in place of 1 whole egg.
