Q: Lipitor?

I took lipitor for the first time today, and it has made me very tired. I will be taking it a night from now on. Will it always make me that tired, or will I get use to it?

Hi Lil Sis,

It will take awhile for your body to adjust to the medication, so it's very possible that the feelings of tiredness you are experiencing will diminish.  The most typical issue with statin medication is muscle aches/pains.  Statins are known to dimish coenzyme Q10, so I recommend discussing a coQ10 supplement with your physician.
