Q: Please see the question below;

Could you tell me about the following clinical biochemistry report of mine. F.FLUCOSE-94.3, TOTAL CHOLESTROL-236.6,HDL-44.8, LDL-136.4, VLDL-55.4, TRIGLYCERIDES-317.7 & CHO/HDL-5.3

Hi Manivannan_001,

 

The American Heart Association recommends total cholesterol be less than 200, HDL great than 40 (ideally greater than 60), LDL less than 130 (ideally less than 100), and triglycerides less than 150.

 

From the lab results you've given, it'd be of benefit to raise your HDL, lower your triglycerides, and lower your LDL cholesterol.  Check out the following information to learn tips on how to start changing your levels.
