Hi Love,   No, the numbers for children are slightly lower than adults.  Here are the levels  for children (2-19 yo) recommended by the National Cholesterol Education Expert Panel and the American Heart Association:   Total Cholesterol (mg/dL) for children Acceptable - less than 170 Borderline High - 170-199 High - 200 or higher    LDL Cholesterol (mg/dL) for children Acceptable - less than 110 Borderline High - 110-129 High - 130 or higher    All the best, Lisa Nelson, RD, LN Lower Cholesterol
