Are there changes in my diet that I can make to raise my HDL?

Are there changes in my diet that I can make to raise my HDL? I'm a 37 years old woman who just had a massive heart attack two weeks ago, and had to have a stent put in the front LAD which was 95 percent blocked. All others were completely clear.

My overall cholesterol is 159, LDL: 78, HDL 37. I need to raise the HDL.  I eat rather healthy, never using salt...never anything fried...and make a point to eat low fat and low sugar items.

Help!

I am planning to start cardio - rehab in two weeks which should help with the HDL, but I'm not sure how much it will help to raise it.

This video animation shows how cholesterol behaves in the blood stream. Cholesterol is a soft, fat-like, waxy substance found in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells.
