Q: Is there a cholesterol med that is NOT a statin?

There are other alternatives to statin cholesterol medications, such as these drug classes: Bile acid binding resins, Cholesterol absorption inhibitors, Fibrates, Niacin, Omega-3 fatty acids. The following link discusses these medication options: Cholesterol treatment
