Q: Andy Scotland Hi just had fasting cholestrol test with a score of 6 is this bad?

Hi Alan,

 

The American Heart Association recommends a total cholesterol of 5.1 or less.  I recommend finding out the breakdown of your total cholesterol (HDL, LDL, triglycerides) so you can determine which is the issue and the appropriate steps to lower your levels.
