Q: Fish Oil? Cholesterol before: 177, HDL 64 LDL 91: After 253, HDL 53 LDL 122

I have had no significant change in diet nor weight.  I've always had "good" cholesterol.  Would the fish oil (1200 mg/daily) be causing this high reading in my recent blood work?

Hi Samilulu,

It is unlikely that the fish oil supplement is connected to your elevated levels.  I recommend consulting your physician to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.
