I've been on cholesterol lowering meds for over 20 years now and recently switched to Crestor.

I worry that I'm retaining water because I drink at least 10 large glasses or bottles of water per day but only go to the bathroom 3-4 times in a 24 hour period.  I'm also constipated most of the time.  Some people have told me to drink even more water but I already feel like I'm sloshing around as it is.  Does this have anything to do with the cholesterol medication that I'm taking or could it be something else.

This video animation shows how cholesterol behaves in the blood stream. Cholesterol is a soft, fat-like, waxy substance found in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells.
