Pork is not bad for your cholesterol, but you do need to pay attention to the cut of pork you select.  Here is a list of leaner pork choices.  The leanest is listed first.   Tenderloin Boneless sirloin chop Boneless loin roast Boneless top loin chop Loin chop Boneless sirloin roast Rib Chop Boneless rib roast Now, you do need to use your head when it comes to bacon.  Obviously not a heart healthy choice.  If you like bacon, give turkey bacon a try and limit how often you have it.   Lisa Nelson, RD, LN Lower Cholesterol, Control Blood Pressure, Lose Weight
