I've been taking Zocor for 9 yr. I have severe tightness and pain in my rt. thigh. Why?

The pain developed right after I started taking Zocor.  I stayed off Zocor for 2 weeks, and the pain did not stop.  My doctor thought it wasn't caused by Zocor.  He put me on Bextra, which was later taken off the market.  I then took Aleve until I developed some blood clots in my lungs and had to get on Coumadin.  Then I had to quit taking Aleve, and the pain in my thigh started bothering me again.  My dosage of Zocor was doubled 3 weeks ago, and the pain in my thigh has been almost unbearable.  What would you recommend?
