Topics:Low Cholesterol Foods

You have been a real help with the little stuff.  Although you should pick up this book, I got it at the health food store.  Robert E. Kowalski's 8 week cholesterol cure.  He claims you can drop your cholesterol by 40% eating 2-3 oat bran muffins a day.  I'd ask my doctor except he's got his own view on things and it isn't always right---well, I shouldn't say that, he just doesn't take into account--us.  He told my husband once to quit drinking completely, it was bad for him.  My husband has 2 beers a night---he looks forward to it.  He also has high cholesterol.

I feel like I know you!  This is soooo cool!  WOW!  You're smart!

Hi Ginger,

Thank you for the positive feedback and your welcome!

I'm not familiar with Robert E Kowalski, but here are the names of three MD's with published books I recommend.  They focus on heart disease (blood pressure and cholesterol).

Mark Houston, MD

Stephen T. Sinatra, MD

James C. Roberts, MD

All the best,

This video animation shows how cholesterol behaves in the blood stream. Cholesterol is a soft, fat-like, waxy substance found in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells.
