My Mom took Zetia and became almost immobile till she went off it and took a coarse of prednisone. She could barely lift her arms and legs before stopping it. She recovered but still felt effects, now it is starting over again, how long will the effects last in her system ??

Hi Brenda,
Did your mother taken another round of Zetia? I encourage you to contact her physician to determine why she is experiencing the symptoms again. If it's been a significant length of time since she took the Zetia, it's unlikely the medication is causing her symptoms at this time.
