My Dr. took me off Zocor as blood tests showed a problem ---is muscle damage permanent or will it b

will muscle damage be permanent or will it restore to normal? It's only been a week that I've stopped medication---I was on it for about 9 months. I am having difficulty with hips & knees----I have no strength in them.

Joint tenderness and muscle pain can be either temporary or rarely permanent.  Corner your health care provider (internist, nurse practitioner, or other) and get her to answer your questions.  Each person is different.  So talk with her and get all your questions answered.
