Do you know of any supplements, e.g. vitamins, herbs or minerals that would raise triglycerides,?

Jerry Acri
11/05/09

On my last blood test my triglycerides, VLDL cholesterol, and AST, ALT liver enzymes were higher than the last 3 tests of past 12 months and I am drinking less alcohol and watching what I eat  more than I did then !

My doctor said to stop the supplements but they have helped me cut back my blood pressure and statin medicines somewhat in the past year & 1/2 .

Any input would be appreciated.

This video animation shows how cholesterol behaves in the blood stream. Cholesterol is a soft, fat-like, waxy substance found in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells.
