Hi Taking Crestor,

Yes, statin medications are usually most effective if taken prior to bed; however, discuss with your physician to determine what's appropriate for your treatment plan.

Taking both Crestor or Lipitor I have felt unwell and experienced weakness in my legs.  Will it help to take Crestor at night as I believe it only has a system life of about 12 hours?

Definitely contact your physician before making any adjustments to the timing of your cholesterol medications.  Your physician knows your full health history and is able to make an appropriate recommendation.
