I've had my galbladder removed for 3 years now and I've been taking Tricor for 1 1/2 years and have had no ill effects at all.  I trust my doctor completly and he has never put me on a medication that would hurt me.  Ask your pharmasist they should be able to tell you.  After all that is part of their job besides dispensing the meds.
