Q: MY SON HAS BEEN TOLD HE HAS CHOLESTEROL DEPOSITS

MY SON IS 23 AND STATIONED IN JAPAN & ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO LOST HIS EYESIGHT IN BOTH EYES. HE HAS SEEN SEVERAL DOCTORS BUT THEY ARE NOT SURE AS TO THE CAUSE. HE WAS GIVEN ANTIBOTICS AND STERIOD SHOTS IN THE EYES.  HE ONLY HAS ABOUT 20% OF HIS VISION NOW. HE HAS BEEN TOLD HE HAS A CRYSTALLIZTION OF THE CORNEA, CHOLESTEROL DEPOSITS OF THE EYE,  HIS PUPILS ARE LONG INSTEAD OF ROUND. AMD AT FIRST IT WAS VERY PAINFUL FOR HIM DUE TO THE THICKNESS OF HIS CORNEA AND THE BLOOD VESSELS HAD RUPTURED. HIS FATHER HAS FUCHS DIESEASE WE ARE HOPING HE GETS STATIONED BACK IN THE USA ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED WE ARE AT OUR WITS END.
