I am a type 1 diabetic and use peppermint stick candy to counteract a low blood sugar. I have recently been put on Crestor and wonder if I will have a problem, because I often need a peppermint stick at bedtime when I am also taking Crestor.

Hi 12345,
There is potential for a drug interaction betwen statin medications and peppermint oil. I recommend discussing with your physician.
