Can somebody please check into the accuracy of the "home body fat test"?

RogEphedra

Depending on how generous I am with the tape measure, it says my body fat is between 3% and 6%.  As much as I would love to believe these numbers, there's just no way.  Also, I've checked it against other online body fat calculators using similar bodily measurements, and they give between 9% and 13%.

use this website to measure all areas for body fat, or just simply use the body mass index calculator!

Thanks for your response Amanda.

I guess what I was hoping for is a site administrator either remove this calculator from the website, or investigate its accuracy, because it doesn't appear to be accurate at all.  Other online calculators, which use similar body-part circumference measurements, seem to be more accurate and in-line with the bio-electrical impedence method that my Tanita bathroom scale uses.

It's just misleading for somebody wanting to estimate their body fat to use this calculator and think it's accurate.

This video animation shows how cholesterol behaves in the blood stream. Cholesterol is a soft, fat-like, waxy substance found in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells.
