Q: Does tamoxifen lower cholesterol levels. I have been on this 4 yrs (brest cancer). My cholesterol (total} has come down from the 100's to 93 over the 4yr period. Thanks, Charlie

Hi Charlie,

 

I do not know of a direct link between Tamoxifen and cholesterol levels, but that doesn't mean the medication isn't related to the changes in cholesterol you've seen. Your pharmacist may be another good resource. . .along with your physician.
