Q: Im taking 1500 mgs a day of niaspan, can that make my Tinnitus worse???

Hi Dan,

 

Niacin has actually been used with some success in treating/reducing tinnitus.  That doesn't mean there's not room for exceptions.

I took niaspan for the first time last night and it made my tinnitus pulsate in sync with my heart beat. It also now creates the same beat sound with any movement of my head.  Flushing was not a problelm at all.
