Wednesday, July 30, 2008 ED asks

Q: My total is 118. Trig is 66. HDL is 48. LDL is 57. Any suggestions how to get a one to one ratio :)

of HDL and LDL? I had two heart valves repaired/replaced last year and the cardiologist wanted the LDL less than 70. I take 40 mg Lipitor, 400 mg CO Q-10, 1000 mg Niaspan, and 1 gram Lovaza.

Ed,

Your numbers look good, although your doctor might want your HDL a little higher.
