Why does the lab's report "Cholesterol Reference Range" now include a "low" level limit ?

Since I take a statin, I have my blood tested every 3 months to monitor my cholesterol and liver function. About 9 months ago, the lab changed the total cholesterol reference range from <200mg to 125-200mg on the report. And since my last 3 total cholesterol's readings were about "120", my total...
