Hi Denise,

Common side effects of Zetia include muscle pain, fatigue, and stomach upset. However, everyone reacts differently to different medications, which means that the feeling in your legs could be a result from the Zetia. When did this feeling begin, in relation to when you started taking the medication? If both started around approximately the same time, I would believe that the medication may be the cause. If you have been taking it for awhile though, then something else may be causing your problem. I would recommend talking to your doctor about your symptoms, especially if they continue or get worse. There are other medications available to help lower cholesterol, and your doctor may decide to switch your therapy around to find something that lowers cholesterol without causing you side effects.

Thanks for your question!

Jill
