Hello shahrzad vaghefi

A placebo is supposed to be a pill that has no effect on the body. It is used in studies to measure the effects of no drugs on an individual. Zetia is not a placebo and can have both very positive effects on the reduction of bad cholesterol and negative effects on the body if unduly prescribed or improperly used. They should not be confused.
