Q: i have lost 180lbs in a year and have alot of loose skin can i get an accurate bodyfat measurement

Total body fat percentage is the total weight of a person’s fat stores divided by the individual’s total weight.  In your case the anthropometric methods, or estimates of body fat by measurements of one body parameter, may not be accurate.  There are more advanced methods, using more technologically based approaches, such as dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA) or near infra-red interactance that may be more accurate.

There are fairly cheap electrical impedance devices on the market, often marketed as scales that also give body fat percentage. You could also try your local gym. They often have the means to measure body fat.
