Q: can a person have a colonoscopy while they are under general anesthesia?

i wondered if a person could have a colonoscopy under general anesthesia. i know they sedate you. but i have a high tolerance to a lot of sedation drugs and i was also "sodomized" against my will yrs ago and i would rather not be awake at all with this procedure. can it be done?
