Q: i have been on lipitor for about 6 or 7 years.My plan now told me its becoming too expensive and they want me to switch to crestor. Will crestor have the same effect?

Hi Stanley11,

 

That depends completely on your "system" and how it reacts to the medication. I recommend discussing fully with your physician and insurance provider. What steps will you have to take to switch back to Lipitor if Crestor does not work for you?
