can tea help lower cholesterol and help to lose weight

Hello,

 I'm trying to find out if drinking tea will or can help lower your cholesterol, blood pressure and help me to lose weight? My cholesterol was quoted today as 226 my Bp was 139/91 my body Comp 39.8% my BMD 0.4 my BMI 33.6 and my Waist  41 I'm 53 and I'm 5" 2 1/2 weighting 184  also my Glucose is 98. I'm trying to lose weight and need a good diet/weight lost program made out for me but i'm also on a tight food budget. Can you help or at least direct me in the right path of getting help with these issue's. Do take bp med for the blood pressure. It's Lisinopril 40 mg and Amlodipine 5 mg. From personal experience, green tea leaves can help you loose weight. You can prepare it in your coffee pot with a filter or by the cup. Drink hot tea after each meal, instead of cold beverage, which you can drink afterwards. It increases healthy red blood cells.

 

I don't know if it lowers high cholesterol or blood pressure but there is a green tea specifically for those conditions.
