Q: itchy skin, reddened belly; just began welchol along with other med following aertiogram, now what?
It sounds like the Welchol (colsevelam) may be causing an allergic reaction. Stop taking the medication and discus the reaction with your doctor. There are many alternative therapies (but you might need two pills) that can take its place both for its management of diabetes and hypercholesterolemia.
