Q: I am a 58 yr old female. I have taken Lipitor for a few yrs and switched to Lovistatin. I also have

degenertive arthritis, but not severe.  I now have excrutiating pain  in all my muscles and joints.  I did alittle research and wondered if I have fibromyalgia too?  I went to the doctor he gave me Celebrex for pain.  A month later I went back to him with more aches and pain.  I asked if I could go to a Rhematologist (not sure of the spelling).  He said, oh, stop taking the lovistatin for 2-3 weeks and then go.  I was in shock!!  I had no idea of the side effect.  I am  normally a very high energy person which now moans with almost every step......  is the side effects reversible?!!  Any suggestions where I go from here?  I feel disabled..........
