Hi Omnia,   Here are four steps I recommend ASAP.   1. Replace saturated and trans fats with heart healthy unsaturated fats. 2. Increase dietary fiber, especially soluble fiber. 3. Increase physical activity. If not currently active, speak with his MD before starting an activity program. Shoot for at least 30 minutes of activity (such as walking), 5 or more days each week. 4.
