Hi Roger,

Vytorin is a combination medication consisting of simvastatin and zetia to help patients lower cholesterol. While relatively rare, simvastatin has been associated with decreased libido and/or erectile dysfunction. Zetia does not appear to cause this, however, everyone reacts to medications differently. I would recommend talking to your physican if this problem persists; he may try switching you to another medication that will help lower cholesterol without causing this problem.

Thanks for your question!
