Hi Dan,
Anytime you begin a medication there is room for concern. If your MD did not discuss all your options, the pros and cons of the medication, potential side effects, and possible drug-nutrient interactions, I encourage you to consult your physician so you are fully aware of your options and what to expect from the medications.
