It's very important to keep your primary doctor "in the loop" when receiving treatment from specialists. His imput is key in helping you make the right decisions, and he can only do so when informed. To answer the cholesterol question, elevated lipids (fats in the blood) have no effect on cancer, or its remission. As you know, high cholesterol can cause many other problems including stroke, heart, kidney, and vascular disease. So this will need attention also, as well as your other problems.
