Q: Does lipitor lower tryglycerides also? I was told lipitor would lower tryglcerides by a doctor jim.

Hi Jerry,

 

Lipitor is typically used to lower LDL cholesterol and in some cases will lower triglycerides also.  I recommend working with your physician to monitor your cholesterol levels to ensure treatment is effective and make adjustments as needed.
