Hi M,

 

Yes, red wine contains compounds that make LDL more resistant to oxidation.  However, if you do not currenlty drink red wine, I don't recommend starting.  If you do enjoy red wine, remember to drink in moderation.  One glass per day for women, no more than two glasses per day for men.  One glass is equal to 5 ounces.
