What is low cholesterol

I have a friend who said she went for check-up and was told to stop taking her med's because her counts or below normal so she doesn't need them anymore. This is news to me. Under what circumstance would this happen?

High HDL and cholesterol

I have always had cholesterol around 160.  I just found out my cholesterol is now at 213, LDL 82, Try 148 and my HDL 120.  I know the HDL are "good", but I am 30 points over the range.  Is there anything I should be concerned about?  I am 38, a healthy woman that exercises regularly and eats fresh food.Thank you
